Target by Numbers - Battle of the Bands
This fine group have entered this year's Battle of the Bands at The Robin2.
They perform on Monday June 6th, sometime between 7.30 and 11pm. For those wishing to go and support The Robin2 is situated close to Bilston High Street. The actual address is 20 - 28 Mount Pleasant, Bilston WV14 7LJ.
The band would love anyone who knows them to go along and support. The Basement Studio wishes them the best in this competition.

WEBCASTS
We've started to produce some on-line webcasts about our work at the studio. We hope to feature interviews, with recordings, with some of our local bands in the near future, To start us off we have posted a webcast about our off-site recordings with brass bands and choirs. To listen to our webcasts, click on the webcast button on our main page and simply follow the instructions. These webcasts are recorded in .wma (windows media audio) format and should play in your default media player. Instructions on how to download and save the webcasts are also available on our webcast page. Hope you enjoy.

BACK IN THE SADDLE -stolen from The Picture's Myspace site
After much thought.diliberation and general all round encouragement The Picture are pleased to announce that we will be carrying on with the band. Steve's music was too good not to keep alive and this is what he would have wanted.
With the blessing of his dear family Alison, Alex and Jack and all his friends we decided that after the love and support shown when as a three piece we played at the tribute shows in Steve's memory, that we should find a new guitartist and get the show back on the road. With the recent addition of Dave Tomlinson on guitar we are about to do just that. Currently rehersing and returning as house band for the Baseline shows at the Earl of Dudley Arms, Dudley and also planning a big celebration of Steve's music over the years later on July 15th at Kinver C.C.

Baseline Line-up 27th May
We are absolutely thrilled to get DARK FOREST to headline our 4th gig at The Earl of Dudley Arms. Metal with a strong celtic and even classical influence supported by the excellent PRIMER (also with a Celtic influence) and our own house band THE PICTURE (with heavy alcoholic influence)
Dark Forest first came to the studio when we had one tiny room in the middle of Dudley and they were all still at school (well college at least). Now they play all over Europe & Ireland, but still return to The Basement for rehearsals when they can. Don't miss this one, its a rare treat as they don't play home-town gigs very often (perhaps because there aren't many venues).
Tickets still only £3 in advance. £5 on door. If you don't know any of the bands or can't get to the studio for tickets you can reserve them by text. Text TICKETS to 07979 653412, and we'll get back to you with details of door ticket reservations at advance ticket prices

Baseline - The Room
Here is a slideshow of the function room at The Earl of Dudley Arms, set up for a "Baseline Gig". As previously stated, this is a 'plug & play' venue, so bands only need to bring their instruments.
A lot of time and effort has gone into providing the audience with superb sound and lighting quality which makes an evening at "The Baseline" a great musical experience.
